Well thats a first for me.

Snow sliding off the conservatory is leading to the formation of huuuge Icicles. Never seen these form in the daytime before let alone in March!!

Temperature at 8am was -0.9c and it is now plummeting even further!

Briefly stopped, sky lightened for a moment, wind died, but now it is coming down good and proper again, big flakes too.

Gurnsey shall turn to snow soon, if Jersey has then you can bet any money Gurnsey is probably a matter of an hour or so away from heavy snow.,

The front will pivot around them, so there is certainly a chance for a record March fall in the channel Islands I'd have thought, 6-8 inches quite widely by 12z Tuesday IMO.

acually im questioning that website and its webcam because this one shows guernsey airport at a standstill http://www.camscape.com/Europe/United%20Kingdom/Channel%20Islands/Guernsey-Airport-and-Weather-32290.php

Nothing here this morning, not even looking like it's going to snow. Just hazy sunshine as the edge of the cloudsheet from the front to the south grazes us.

Just very cold here this morning, windchill of -6c. Dry though and the sun just came out for a few seconds. Those showers are packing a punch in Essex, perhaps odd chance of them getting here to give a flurry? rofl.gif

Ok, how about a measurement at 9.00 p.m. tonight (Half-Time), just in case you get some melting (You might have had already of course or none at all. Get to the point!) And then a final measurement at some point tomorrow morning, after snow finally clears, if its still about. Usual rules, only cms, no Kentimetres, TOWIEmetres (orange snow, in other words), Londonometres.

Just good old cms, please!

Yes amazingly as Kentspur just said, the main shower train looks like it is London Bound, could be in the dry slot here in SE Essex, the main frontal band to the south is starting to pivot on its North Eastern Side which could become interesting this afternoon along the Thames Estuary and North Kent though for those missing out now!

You wouldn't even known it had snowed here. A few remnants of snow on the grass. Good to see it coming down. Anymore due? I see the City of London is being plastered.

We had a 15 minute blizzard, now lovely sunshine. I have a feeling that might be our lot for today. Jersey looks the place to be right now.
