Morning all! Have woken up to a snow flurry falling out of a mainly blue sky. Looks like a few snow showers are the order of the day for this part of the world.

Morning! Clear sky here - lovely to see the blue :) No snow show here at all. I was wondering if someone could tell me if the route from Ringwood to London would be open and trouble free (from snow) please? As my daughter is due to travel to London with the school this morning.

Still no sign of spring in the models this morning then, damn , this cold can do one now as far as I'm concerned, I can't be doing with very cold at this time of year when there's no meaningful snow with it!

Same here....the odd flurry. Happily, on the frozen soil, there remains some of yesterday's powdery snow.

According to MetO's Filton observations, windchill during the night was minus 11 degrees. Brrrrrrrrrr!

Bl**dy FANTASTIC here in Angmering this morning - couldnt believe it would STILL be snowing this morning when I awoke - but it IS and still drifting. Difficult to tell level depth both I guess around 5-6 inches. Looks like were're getting a streamer now after being pummeled by the channel low all day and night yesterday. No raffic moving at all around here and don't have a clue what the main roads are like A27, A29 etc - anyone know??

PS: -3.1C / DP -5.2C

Nice pictures thegreat... They're great! :p

A few flakes here earlier I'm a flurry, otherwise, dry and sunny, but feeling very chilly! My only change of actually getting some snow settling today is early this morning in flurries it seems, which will probably do their best to miss me!! Ah well! :)

Where I am in Hampshire there is nothing fantastic. You wouldn't be able to tell if it snowed last night or not.

A cold but sunny start to the day here today.

Should stay dry all day IMBY today, so hopefully the sun can make it feel a little less bitter than what it was yesterday, although still cold.

Friday is looking horrid.

Moderate snow in Stroud, turning everything white slowly (I'm just outside town) though its blowing around on the roads. Could be an interesting day today if these showers keep up. It didn't settle this easily yesterday when it was much heavier.

Bright and sunny today. No snow what so ever, just bitter.

Bit of a non-event for us in the west after all the build up. Must admit, I'm a tad jealous of the pics/reports of places literally 40 miles east of this area. Very cold though!

Just seen that on the radar. A line of showers look to be heading slowly south so areas around the M4 may get one last blow after all.

Wow that was a lot - a flat 8 inches in back garden. Didn't think we'd get that much. In Chichester nowhere near as bad. Looks like Barnham eastwards bore the brunt!?

An I right in thinking that more showers will form into the afternoon due to better convection?

Looking lovely out the SW, we seem to be catching that mini (lightish) streamer. Good timing with the ground very cold from overnight, settling well. Wonder how long it will keep up.
