Heating will be off now till late in the Autumn, unless it becomes as cold as last Monday, or I have guests. Warm clothing for me now; my last power bill annoyed me. ohmy.png

These places must be made to a formula, here's the one I stayed at in La Palma a couple of years ago:

I think they must be.....I will be back here in just over 21 weeks.....

We have moderate rain over us but nothing falling from the sky, is there a dry layer in the atmosphere?

I really did think I would see some thunder and lightening earlier when I was driving home in the rain from T. Wells but it was not to be.

Looks like I am missing out the system here in Medway as I can see it in the distance.

Reverse wintry weather is over psychology from this morning tempts this from the ECM. Yes, I know it is nine days away...but still, that suggests snow showers to me if it was to happen - with the wind blowing off the North Seaair_kiss.gif

i thought i would wait for the 12z runs

to see if i could get an idea of what happens with the low at the weekend

right at 192 ecm shows this

ECM1-192.GIF?18-0

ECM0-192.GIF?18-0

gfs shows this

gfs-0-192.png?12

gfs-1-192.png?12

so i think anyone who wants to do a forecast of warm or cold afterwards

are in a technical term

guessing

maybe the fax charts later will help

or maybe not fool.gif

wont beat norfolk

they have small earthquakes as well rofl.gif

Hi John, I like that site, didn't realise quite how many we get a month in the UK, don't want to see too many in the North Sea though, North Sea tsunami doesn't appeal, maybe related to oil or gas extraction? 1st time I have been on here today, see models are no nearer any kind of solution towards spring or extended winter. ECM having a bit of a tease in FI again I seesmile.png .

hi bjaykent

these quakes are normal as we sit on various very small faultlines so nothing unusual

just interesting.

re the models they are doing a typical where do i put the low situation

years ago i used to play spot the ball

how about we play a new version called spot the low rofl.gif

43 minutes between posts in the South East section, oh dear. Well after a lovely sunny morning the fog rolled in off the North Sea and we have been covered in that blanket of cold damp air all afternoon. Not nice.

Well it would have been 43 minutes if Snowking hadn't beat me to it.

So do you think as things stand snowking that its safe to say at the moment that it will be all snow from east anglia/midlands/wales northward!!

Nothing is safe to say at this juncture my friend!

For example, the ECM control run this evening has no front on Thursday, and keeps Friday's front much further West (west of Birmingham for the most part). Similar snow boundary (i.e. Mid Wales North) to the deterministic run, but plenty of variation on the general theme still at present
