Snowing here for a while, settled on everything except the roads and pavements. Seems to be mainly horizontal from the east.

Off out to the theatre tonight so if it could stop by then I'd be grateful.

Been snowing lightly in SE25 since 7am when I got up, settling only on grass/soil and roofs. Now seems to be getting heavier with bigger flakes.

ECM, HIRLAM and UKMO suggesting the snow will ease and drift north this afternoon, tending to dry up south of the Thames.

Probably the same here Nick, down the road in SE20 then, only just got up. Has settled on grass, cars and roofs, likewise, must say didnt expect this.

Regards,

Tom.

Have 2cm on grass. Fences and roofs. Some pavements also covered but roads wet from past rain are clear. Quite poor really from the Met Office after going for heavy snow for 6am-3pm for last 2 days it never really got going, they missed last Sundays action too. Never mind, been a good winter here for snow and still very light snow falling.

Totally hacked off with this sort of weather I'm all for snow if its actually gonna impress but this sort of drivvle annoys me - another couple days of no earning money - I could tolerate if it meant a proper snow day but totalling up near on 6 weeks of no income from dec to date is no joke!!!! Enjoy those who have proper snow though and sympathy to those whom also lose money on days like this!

Just back from the shop, there was a few graupel pellets in the grass. Snow rate, 1 flake per hour (give or take 6 hours help.gif )

Happy birthday Gary :)

Good Morning all, Happy Birthday Gary.... Well there was no snow around at 2 am, By 6am everything well covered, and still coming down. So from AL3 TO EN11 is all white. Finish work at 12.00. Local radio weather stating heavier around midday on-wards. Gawd might have to shut early and bugger off. Take care folks and enjoy your day.

Woke up to a nice covering here. Went to bed at midnight and it was raining.

It was quite heavy earlier but now is less intense therefore some of the lighter coverings are fading.

Morning, everyone - what a winter wonderland this morning. Currently have about two inches here and it's still snowing - they're only tiny flakes of snow but quite heavy!
