Heavy snow of small flakes, just making everything wet though

Some on the grass though, but a struggle to look that way from where I am sitting

Hello everyone!!

Well we've been really lucky this year in regards to cold weather, huh?

Snow has been falling since 4am here in Central London and is set to continue until night hours! Snow is falling fast, heavy and in big snowflake sizes! It hasn;t settled at all,but hopefully it will as it gets darker.

Enjoy the snow eveyone!

Been settling here on all surfaces (Apart from roads) for about 20 minutes now. Constant snow must have finally brought the ground temp down.

We've just had a mixture of light snow, graupel and snizzle here that has made everything rather soggy.

I must say i think all u guys on here have made my winter this year aswell espesh with all the banter arround the first mayjor snowfall we had its been a pleasure lampost watching with you all

Although this has been a good winter, I cannot imagine how much laying snow we would of seen if conditions were perfect!!

Seen many, many hours of falling snow, but not settling

Still snowing here, roads are wet but all fields a covered, we had a lull for about 20 minuets, but started to come down Heavy again, getting colder as well, and still a strong wind.

1990s Lampost watching looking for a flake at 4am no more. Must have had 25 days of lying snow this winter so far.

Have you got no settled snow over there at all ?

Its on most roofs,garden cars bins etc but not really roads here. Its still marginal as there is no build up yet. last sunday far more snow/settling here

We have laying snow, got to about 3cm earlier, and then big melt, it has now been snowing for the last hour yest still have only 2cm on the table i measured earlier

I think the frustrating thing, is all in all, been snowing for nearly 6 hours + today, if conditions were right, would be looking at at least double that

Temp from car thermometer has not risen above - 0.5c from this mornings low of -1c

although I know this probably out by about 1c perhaps. None the less a very cold day

with the heavy snow now covering the roads again.

Snow cover on all surfaces with as much as 5 to 7cm on grass, bins, garden table etc.
