Early drive from kingston to gatwick in heavy sleet. Snow lying around junc 8 of the m25 but nowhere else.

That's the highest part of the m25 by some margin!

Currently chucking it down here in Reigate having turned from sleet to snow about 30 mins ago... Amazingly, it's settling!

Cold dry and grey here on the coast nr Gt Yarmouth.

Lot's of stuff aimed in the direction but I have very low confidence in anything settling even if it does arrive.

I am a cheerful soul this morning!

**Although NCFC just signed Ricky Van Wolfswinkel! Even the name cheers me up a bit. :)

Yay! Snowing in High Wycombe! Quite heavy at the moment - approx 1cm on cars and grass and looks like it will continue for a long time according to the radar. Very happy as we have had to look on enviously since our last settled snow in January. Patience has finally paid off!!

Started snowing lightly in Lee SE12 about 10 minutes ago but now getting heavier and at 45 degrees on easterly wind.looks set for a while.

Moderate wet snow here in Bagshot. Just over 1cm at the moment and the wet roads are rapidly turning white. OAT is +1.1.

Interesting thing is that the intensity is constant and if anything increasing. Thought we were supposed to just get rain...

Today is a perfect illustration of how nonsensical it is too say "the ground is too wet for snow to settle". As many of us are seeing, as the temperature drops and the dew point falls below zero, snow will begin to settle on even the most sodden grass.

Temperature now 1.1, dew point -0.1.

Gradually turning white!

Er High Wycombe was the countries sweet spot for the snow event a couple of weeks ago??

Quite heavy snow in Reigate, settling on grass and cars. +0.3c (down from +0.4c 15 minutes ago). DP -2.9c. Can't see up to the North Downs at all - too much snow falling!

Today is our daughter's roller skating birthday party, postponed from January due to ....... snow! Maybe July would be a reasonable bet?

Small flakes falling here, only just settling. Seems to be the year of small snow flakes, can't remember the last time i saw a 50p flake. Hoping for more later.....

Snowing in Rainham quite heavy, but its wet snow, laying on roof tops etc but its like slush puppy on the paths. temp -0.2

Can't believe how quickly the snow has settled, I woke up at six to just slush on car winscreens, and now virtually everything is covered in snow.

Saw the transition from heavy rain to heavy wet snow around 7am, starting to settle! Going to Blue water shortly, should be fun!

Haven't been able to see Lowestoft on the radar because it has been under such heavy snow.

and are you getting any?
