Early drive from kingston to gatwick in heavy sleet. Snow lying around junc 8 of the m25 but nowhere else.

Snowing moderate to heavy hear for a while - settling on cars, roofs, grass well, but only a sugar coating on the roads and pavements. Just looked at BBC forecast at 6.45 and it showed no snow over my area until a few hours time so nowcasting not too good by the BBC !

Moderate snow in Bushey nr Watford with a good covering already. Don't think snow was expecting until later this morning and looking at the radar there's heavy stuff approaching from the south. Could be a good day!
