morning all

I hope you get some warmer temps in the UK for the weekend, I hope the same for France too.  I left London (Lewisham) at 5am yesterday with a temp of 5 degrees, driving to SW France, as I passed through Rouen at around 9:30am with a temp of 4 degrees it was sleeting in the hills!! I finally got to Cognac where the temp at 3pm climbed to the heady heights of 12 degrees!!  Saw some amazing storm cloud formations, but interestingly no thunder or Lightning, on the way down too, but now I would like to see the sun :-)

Have a good weekend one and all

Cheers

FC

I seem to have people on my FB reporting a T-Storm last night in my area. We had hail and heavy rain but no T&L at all. Maybe they thought the noise of the hail was thunder????

Morning all, sunny but cool start to the day here, weekend weather not looking too shabby for us either, goes down hill after monday evening though.

any plans for the long weekend?

I was going to do some artwork (will still try) but accident at the begining of the week means hand now in plaster, managed to get them to not plaster up my thumb and first two fingers, so still have some use of the hand Posted Image

Have lost internet connection again at home, now at work and my only source of communication with you guys.

Fine in Croydon at the moment but some cloud bubbling up.

Looks like we'll just about squeeze a couple of fine days out for the B/H weekend before it turns unsettled again into Tuesday.

Not looking good for the gardening stakes on Weds, will no doubt be subject to a grass inspection on Weds morning, must be odds-on another abandonment though.

Garden flooded, house flooded, c'est la vie! Slight exaggeration there of course. Nothing like a good moan! Posted Image

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Regards,

Tom. Posted Image

Hi Jan, Posted Image

I'll make you an offer, if you can come and cut the grass for me, you can have the amount of inches you've cut as a start, in a match-up against me in a snow-depth challenge, next winter! Think that's fair....................well, worth a try anyway. Posted Image

Hope you're having a nice day Jan and, all S.E members, of course.

Regards,

Tom.

After bathing my two naughty dogs after they decided that cat poop would make for a good mud bath im finally able to chill out for the evening. It was nice when the sun was out but the wind was a bit chilly.
