Afternoon all,

From a very wet and miserable Croydon, roads were awash at Hayes/Addington on way in to work. Plenty more to come by the looks of it.

Dont care if it rains all weekend, I'm working! Posted Image

Only joking, hope you all have a lovely B/H weekend and you manage to squeeze out some nice weather.

Can be a drag working every B/H but the overtime comes in very handy, needs must, etc.

Regards,

Tom.

I don't think I've ever cast a clout. I have done things that come close, but never cast one......... :whistling:

If you knew the Derbyshire meaning of the word, you'd have a whole different angle on that phrase......

If you tried to cast one in public? - definitely (and probably a black eye at the very least Posted Image )

Oh my lordy, I'm shocked..... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Clout (go right to the end!).

Edit: just for a remote semblance of weather-relatedness, it's still raining in Surbiton.

I can categorically state it is absolutely vile here now........ and so is the weather.

9c, persistent heavy rain for the last 2 hours or so and gusty winds. Grim doesn't even come close to describing it, this is just so depressing. Posted Image

Yes on both counts in Mid Sussex too. But as I'm the Guv'ner today, I am closing the factory early and it is an official POETS day for Coasty and the crew!

Now, leaving Derbyshire slang to one side, does this mean keep your clouts on until the month of May is out or until the blossom of the May tree is out?  Either way this year it would have made no difference and ones knackers would have been well and truly frozen at whatever time you de-clouted!

On that note, I think I need to turn on the heating....

Well done that man. Much brighter here now, the rain has stopped so the clearance should be heading your way soon Posted Image

Its been a busy day in the airspace of the South East today. Following on from this mornings emergency landing at Heathrow by a BA flight ( engine fire ), a PIA flight has been diverted to Stansted with an Raf fighter jet escort. 2 men on board arrested
