Hint of hail on the Office widow, here in Croydon and sky looking very threatening.

Some crazy temps being reported further north for 3rd week in May, as these heavy showers pass through!

Regards,

Tom.

The last 2 posts have gone way over my head........doesn't take a lot mind !!

Clearing skies and spells of sunshine are raising my hopes of something remotely convective in this area this afternoon, and the mercury is up and down like a yo-yo.

Thanks as always for the updates JP.  Its pretty grim here yet again. Gone very dark, trees bending in the wind and a whole mess of showers showing up on the radar.

hope your well

just saw this and think the weather has gone mad

A freak snow storm shuts down school and leaves residents without power in the community of Bickleton. Bickleton School Superintendent Ric Palmer says within a 10 mile radius of the school, areas received 5 to 6 inches of snow, while others experienced up to 10 to 12 inches. Palmer says despite cancelling school today, classes are expected to resume tomorrow. The heavy, wet snow, also knocked down several trees which knocked out power to the area. Your Local ABC has a crew headed to Bickleton and we'll have more on this developing story tonight at 5 & 6:30.

It may seem like it........ but summer doesn't officially start until June 1st so a bit premature to already write it off I think

Afternoon all

Apart from a 10 second blink and you'll miss it shower at about 2pm it is been bone dry all day here at the office in Harefield.  The odd threatening cloud has loomed up but mostly it's been sunny, breezy and distinctly cool.  Maybe I can run into a hailstorm to liven up the tedious drive home.

Tomorrow still looks a bit grim, I don't hold out much hope for the juniors' cricket practice in the evening!
