This is a useful loop to watch for cloud top temps and strength of convection etc

Pretty dark and menacing to the south too, looks as if it could go flash at any minute, but not heard anything for quite a while and no new sefrics showing.

absolute monster of a storm going through Paris ATM... Looks like a mother ship!

 

That could very well be a supercell, i bet there is some severe conditions under that.

Something about this makes me feel like it's not real or recent. The sun would have set a while ago in Paris, and it looks like the sun is low and in...the South East? I'm just a little sceptical...

Anyone else notice the line of mid level cumulus gongestus in the south of England - I'm looking south from Cirencester and it must be in a line south of newbury west - could be building
