Looks like the best of the weather will remain to the South East corner of our region today, rain gradually creeping in through the afternoon from Midday (heavy at times):

Good morning peeps...

Already up to 17.7, so at least it's not too cold...

Morning. :)

Had a shower here so already beats last weeks "thunder days". Westerlies are always better for showers and storms these days

Morning SE'ners, hope everyone having a good weekend. Saw the sun early on, just had a shower and there are some rather non-summery skies at the moment lol. Quite a strong W breeze and currently 16C on the Staines Riviera.

There could be our friendly Azores making an appearance within a week or two (things change) this would bring very warm sunny and dry weather, the beach type or sitting in the park not worrying if it's going to rain..

Can't wait for this really meant to happen this time of year be great if it could shift more north for our northern friends, the north hasn't had much summer over the years in the way of sunny highs, the Jet sits at mid position that is why as the high cannot move north, the Jet stream should move to our far north UK.

We need to squeeze as much rain as we can, from the current spell, then?

I did read somewhere that we are again below expected rainfull amounts in some areas.

LOL

When I was 11 I got a duck, just turned up home from school with her (we hatched them as part of a school project), enter father making a quick kennel for her and me upsetting my little sister by commandeering her paddling pool.

Got the picture from the M$ backgrounds collection for windows 8.

I seem to remember our family rabbit arrived through the pleading of me and my sister to my Mum at the pet shop one day after seeing him all on his own looking forlorn in the window. Anyway, fast foward a few hours..one much happier bunny, one clean cosy hutch and lots of attention and tlc....and also a very unimpressed dad when he got home from work that eveningPosted Image

Ahh, it gets better, that one duck, needed a friend, then I got some chickens, and more ducks, they all started breeding...

Well that's a bugger, just as I pressed send, there's a Big Bang from the toilet and there's Marion flat on her stomach, she's passed out whilst on the loo, hit her head on the door frame, cut her eyebrow open and hit her chin, so it now looks like she gone 10 rounds with Henry Cooper, think she won. So BBQ is now on but without us. Looks like she got a stomach upset and a few bruises but I think she'll be ok, teach me to take the mick.

Hi CK, Hope your wife is ok and happy wedding anniversary

Afternoon all,

From a breezy, cloudy Croydon.

Lol Jan, I was just finishing the remains of my Tescos chicken salad sandwich, reading your post, and it even tasted less appetising than normal, cant think why!

Yes, lets hope that the tennis at Wimbledon gets off to a fine start tomorrow and that they have a nice fortnight in general.

If you fancy a patriotic punt, Andy Murray best price 4/1 for the Mens Singles.

And Laura Robson 200/1, Heather Watson 1,000/1 for the Ladies Singles.

Hope you're all having a lovely day.

Regards,

Tom.
