No lying snow here last night but has started snowing heavily now and ground is white, must be the front coming in now!

Don't think the front is to hit till later? Looks like showers still to me. Could be wrong but.

Fun drive to ballina this morning....not a drop here!! Drove home tomorrow should be fun!!

Heavy snow here. Spotted lightning about an hour ago, over the sperrins towards Gortin direction.

Yeah you're right just showers but ok covering now, missed out on all the fun last night!

are the showers moving from west to east or from the southwest? nw radar not conclusive.

Just popped in from Yorkshire thread,wishing you all good luck.If you could do us a massive favour and ring all your relatives and get them at the same time as you guys to make convection happen by way of kettles,outside hot tubs,wash your cars in hot water etc and all blow east-hard :D

And if not :aggressive:

is there a thaw on in places? everything here had froze up solid after dark but im not so sure now. temps may have risen?

No thaw here the snow level keeps on building, as always height is an advantage. Oh and hello and welcome joggs, I have relatives over in Leeds

Back in south Tipp tonight, and there's currently light snow!

 

Shall get some picks and videos from the storm on Cape Clear up either tonight or tomorrow.

I'd love some decent snow :/ not much happening here in Belfast - snow shower around 5ish. That was it. Would be nice to get something over weekend or next week
