No probs. just had a look over in the east coast of america they are expecting 1-2 feet of snow Monday night in boston!! But I will take what we are expecting. The met office warning of 2-5 cms is very conservative even for low lying areas. This could easily be exceeded locally nearer the time.

Definitely think the Met are being conservative with their estimates. Put it this way if the current charts keep showing then fully expect amber warnings to be issued!

Oh I will buddy. To be honest I was more than happy with what we got the.last time. It was more or less 24 hours of snow. This is looking better though!

yes it has potential to be a prolonged cold spell, time to build up the reserves of energy and tbh i'm glad we had a break between these cold spells, it really knackers ya esp when hitting middle age. lol.

Lol just release your inner child. My last snowfall didn't stick around long but if we see snow this week then it could stick around quite a while.

certainly hope so, snow is very welcome any day on our wee island.

Just have to LOL at some people in the model thread!

Those 850 temps are giving them all headaches.

I would prefer to see them a bit colder i suppose but i still think things will work out ok for most.

The phrase of choice I'm enjoying at the moment is "snow showers piling into the North West"

Looking forward to Wednesday night snow watch already.

Is this definitely nailed on, why have met office mostly sleet and rain down on the precipitation forecasts on wed and thurs?
