Just had a good old wintry shower started as rain and turned to full on snow when at highest intensity but has petered out to light rain so as temps decrease tonight this could be very interesting

Some proper snow now, nice big flakes and starting to settle. Been a few grains and hail earlier today which has provided a nice cool bed for the snow to lie on.

Radar not looking too shabby either, although it indicates sleet it is definitely snow  :D

Rain has started turning to sleet/wet snow here, everything is soaked though this shower has come to early in the night the dew points and temp are still to high.

Holy cow its proper turned to snow/grupel now starting to leave a dusting on cars not settling as yet on grass. Best wintry shower for 2 years here.

To be fair though it was not hard as there has been nothing here at all since march 2013

Darlo looks in the firing line for that thin band on the radar.
