Nae heating and now snowing. Not sure whether to laugh or cry.

Snow starved as I am as I sit in my shorts and tee shirt I would not trade the boiler for snow....go to tesco buy a small fan heater and close the doors in the living room and congregate the whole family in there....amazing how hot it becomes...done that when my boiler failed....going out the room to the toilet however is then not pleasant

Thought you might have got lucky this time!

Managed another thin covering here, but crave a decent snaw fall as we have been missing out on anything substantial from these cauld spells.

The end result is perhaps the deepest snowfall of the winter so far, easily a cm but perhaps not that much to get excited about? How it came about was something different, we left to take the dogs for a walk in light snizzle. When the snow started it quickly got heavier and heavier until it wasn't even 50p snow, it was good solid £2 snow verging into lower prawn cracker territory. Lumps and lumps and lumps. It probs only lasted about 20 minutes in total but waw, waw and even more waw. It was a brilliant walk with the dogs :D :D :D :D :D I love snow but I WANT MORE!!!!

Been a bit more snow here overnight, looking a bit more like it at least!

Same here, but I'd still say no more than 1cm and that's probably being optimistic. Temp sat at around 1C at the moment.

A fair few school transport problems in Aberdeenshire this morning and even a couple of primary schools closed.

Very surprised by the amount of snow this morning, wasn't expecting much to fall but it looks like approx. 2 - 3 inches in Westhill last night! :D  Drive in to work took an hour which was 3 times longer than usual because people were getting stuck going up hills but my fiesta with winter tires didn't seem to have any trouble at all.

Yup was a nice surprise this morning! Radar suggests the shower came in around 4am and it seems we were in one of the sweet spots. Took me well over and hour to get into the city this morning and there is barely a dusting here on the coast.

Wee covering this morning. Hope it's there when I get home! The snow must have only reached Falkirk last night as nothing to the west at all. We might get some flurries tonight. The forecast after Friday is a gentle Thaw! :cc_confused:
