Have a slight covering here just now, must have been from the little showers that passed by. Waiting on this band to come in now to see if snow is on offer, PLEASE! :)

Zero frost this morning despite reaching -2c overnight. Temp on the rise. Let's get this 'certain not to be snow here' band out of the way and see how we do out of any showery stuff tomorrow.

We had a frost too, but temp is up to 2.3c now with rain blowing in the wind. Quite calm though, for the moment.

Wet snow on here for a couple of hours now. Not doing much other than a bare covering on the grass. Bit sleety at times, too. Very still at the moment. Currently 0.5C/0C after an overnight low of -2.8C.

Somewhere with height will be getting pasted, wouldn't like to be driving the M74 just now... Still sleet in the precipitation (judging by the windows, looks like rain to look at) and it's much heavier than before.

Fingers crossed for one last snow (certainly falling) and hopefully lying a little on Monday. Then that's the end of winter for me I think, the sun Is getting too strong for these 'marginal' set ups. We need proper uppers -8 and below to get lying snow here I'd say...

Further north and with some height you have a bit longer but all snow was lost to even quite big hills and the mountains were only white near the top by the end of play yesterday and that's with a chilly max of 5.2c (I'm basically at sea level - 15m asl or something), the sun melted it all away.

After Monday/Tuesday I'll be looking forward to summer :)

Still snowing here and the covering is starting to build. Temp holding at 0.4C/0C.

Must admit, wasn't expecting anything much from this burst, so this is a wee bonus.

PG Junior already zooming around the house shouting, "Mr Teeny's* coming back!"

*Mr Teeny was what he named the ****ing enormous snowman 'we' built back in mid-Jan. Who says 4 year olds don't have a sense of irony?

Very windy and cold currently 1.8c. A bit of snow falling. The skies are grey and black and are almost the stormiest looking ones of the winter round the Firth, somewhere with height must be getting a lot of snow. Lots of geese and gulls all in neighbouring stubble fields feeding together

Snow turned to sleet and then rain quite quickly this morning. Back to mostly snow now with some big flakes at times. Must be the heavier precip that's helping.
