So where are we looking for tonight's ppn or has it yet to show its hand on radar?

Few big clumpy showers in wales but clearly not what the warning is for.

Wow - yes - looks like a classic!

Actually - or is it just a secondary low which has developed from the "shortwave" shown at around the same position on the GFS 6Z

Not sure but I expect it will enhance showers later running down the Irish sea , good to see Snow now falling for Andy , the Snow line must be starting to move further South .

Met office weather warning for snow and it's over the iow!!!! Woohoo

"Showers during Thursday afternoon and evening are expected to fall increasingly as sleet, snow and hail. This may settle in places, especially from late afternoon and more especially on high ground. In addition, a more persistent spell of rain, sleet and and snow may affect the west and south of the yellow area during the early hours of Friday morning. Most areas are unlikely to see large amounts of snow but icy stretches are likely to form on untreated surfaces. The unstable westerly airflow will veer northwesterly during Thursday bringing cold air further south across the UK. Showers will therefore become wintry to lower levels. 1 to 2 cm may settle almost anywhere, especially from late afternoon and into Thursday evening.During the early hours of Friday morning a more persistent spell of rain, sleet and snow may affect parts of Wales, the Midlands and southern England. Again, 1 to 2 cm of snow is possible at low levels .However, this is rather uncertain and many places will see little, if any, lying snow, and ice is more likely to be a hazard." 3RD TIME LUCKY???

Early warning of snow for Sunday for far Southwest Devon and Cornwall from a Pembroke dangler which is showing also on Euro4.

Oi oi! It's not after the watershed! Less of the dangler!

Had a couple of showers this morning. All been rain. Temps holding up at 4.8c at mo - dp@1.3 ... I "think" we had a light icing during the night as I saw some on the roof tops at 730 but went so quickly I couldnt really tell for sure.

as expected, showers getting smashed by the brecons......therefore nothing to note here, rain/sleet showers tracking further south, meanwhile further north and east (!) more meaningful wintry ppn through Oxon, Warks, Northamptonshire and into the London & the south east

Same here current temp.7.0 It was colder last week before the predictions of a northerly blast lol. Light rain at present and certainly not expecting anything else from this northerly especially down here. Edit now moderate rain.

Yes and todays talk of next week being warmer and more marginal. Well I guess it will be a nice spring like 10c then?! lol
