Snow and hail here in north Bristol

 

EDIT: Proper snow now.

 

Temp has dropped from 4.2c to 1.5c in the last hour or so.

 

Dew point -0.9.

Just had the first proper snow shower of the winter here (have had sleet previously). Was quite brief but has left a slight dusting on the pavements and grass. This is probably as good as it's going to get!

Bizarrely I shut my eyes for a second and then looked out of the window and.... Now that was a surprise. I heard hail but...

Actually had a snow shower recently, not rain, not sleet - snow! Visible flakes coming down quite heavily for about 5 minutes before it cleared off again. Need a bigger shower now (besides having just got back from the gym). Temperature down to 02.4C.

Im right on the coast in Weston , and in that last shower it was snowing on the pier. So anything that falls from now on should be all snow

Just had heavy snow (tiny flakes) for about 10 minutes then a few large flakes at the end. All in all a great shower. Here are some photos because it settled:

Nope none I'm afraid. The ground was too wet and it was blowing around in the wind. At least I've won my bet with my son that we would have a flake or two today!!

 

Looks like you might get another shower shortly according to the radar. Keep them eyes peeled!
