No problem I had a serious phobia of storms until I was about 14/15, I can still remember to this day my father putting headphones on me during storms, it also helped me as when I was ready to take them off my dad was there for me. Sometimes I still get worried about storms, I have a condition called Alopecia areata when I get nervous clumps of my hair fall out and I still have a bald patch from my parents leaving me in charge of their house whilst on holiday and there were storms during the night, the first time I had ever faced a storm alone.

Wow I suppose that just shows what is sometimes someone's joy is another ones pain if you understand what I mean. My dad was a plumber and also a Avid WW2 historian . One day when I was young he explained there where tanks running the taps into the block of flats I lived in. I took it the wrong way and had nightmares for at least a year, I still remember them now .

Interesting that shoal of charged ppn to the west Coast of Normandy I can evisage it ending up near London.

I agree

Yep it's much chillier than they thought it would be, here anyway.  The humidity went down but seems to be rising again.

Distant thunder in East London and I can't see any flashes, the very active storm is a little too far, might get a glimpse after it crosses the river Thames.

Dark patch to my the left in North London (apparently no storm) and right in Essex.

I noticed half a swirl in the cloud.

Just dropped my girlfriend off at the bus station, got some proper thunder and lightning now. Not much rain and the shower looks pretty small.

2 hours on my balcony waiting for the fun (did see a "blink and you'll miss it" brief lightening affair!) Now it's time to wake up the household looks like it's all about to start! Typical! :)

I am currently under that rain that isn't doing much, but there are big old drops in it.

New small storm appearing around the Ashford area, I watched the cloud exploding into life. So I've now had a storm to the east and west of me, typical! Good luck to everyone today :)
