One patch of slow moving rain and it's right over me. :diablo:   I was hoping to pick blackberries this morning, trust that the forecast of a quick clearance comes about.

As LOW pressure days go today has been pretty decent with plenty of sunshine and just a sharp shower around 08.00 and more light rain just starting. After the band of rain overnight tomorrow and Tuesday don't look too bad rain wise except for scattered heavy showers (although more rain overnight into early Tuesday) then Wednesday will possibly begin fine. It's from midday Wednesday until midday Thursday when we could get a real soaking system.

Just managed to get to work before the heavy rain settled in, quite mild though.

Some very intense downpours this morning and since low cloud disappeared a few hours ago it has been possible to see that there are a lot of CBs in all directions. Very warm when the sun shines between the showers and one of those days when a downpour feels likely to develop at any time.

Unbelievable downpour here at the moment in Aztec West. The noise on the roof is as if it were hailing and the lights have flickered a few times. Real daytime darkness and a gusty wind sending sheets of rain across the car park. Surprised there hasn't been any thunder. Definitely the heaviest rain I've seen so far this year.

Radar shows a nice big fat cell right over you, no wonder it's like that!

Becoming fine and quite sunny at the moment after a showery morning although there are still some showers around. The wind is beginning to back ahead of the big LOW tomorrow, now a WSW after NW earlier, therefore the shower directional movement has also changed.

It looks like being a very wet afternoon with possibly some thunder thrown in the mix this afternoon otherwise a dry and mainly calm start bizarrely enough here! Wind: NE 4 mph gusting to 9 mph. Temperature: 12.0°C.

Very very unlikely that thunder will occur this far west. Might not even rain here in woolacombe.

I was expecting a bit more rain to be showing on the radar by now to the south; only very fragmentary areas of light stuff nearby at the moment. In fact, this morning started quite pleasant with bright spells interspersed with early morning mist after a low of 09.5C. Cloudier now.
