Well it happened, July 2022

image.thumb.png.bee4fec1d8064f9761e38cfedda6e408.png

And so it continues..

image.thumb.png.d31cdaaba45ec7f140653acbccdb4dca.png

Meanwhile the overnight low of 13.9°C at: 06:07, has moved up to 20.5°C, RH68%, with a light breeze in from the N, with a fair amount of sunshine, even with partly cloudy skies

Whilst at sea level, not overly busy!

Yep, cracking day today - sunny with a nice temperature of around 22 or 23 degrees. Best day of the year so far for me, given my summerphobic Irish heritage.

The weather forecast was miles off again, stating it would be cloudy with the sun poking out occasionally, but instead it's been wall to wall sunshine.

That's what I thought too - very pleasantly surprised. Surpassed 25 degrees here a bit further inland. Perfect conditions.

0.53 mm for the month here, 1.2% of long term average. Remarkable - though not quite as much as yours (the odd .03 is because I record 'trace' as 0.01mm).

Nice warm day here today, sunny periods, min 15.9°C, max 26.4 at 2pm. Max for the month was 34.8 on the 19th.

It still feels very humid to my mind after a very sunny day here . My weather station has packed up so not sure of the temperature.

Looks like it's a warm night to come as well .

I want to buy a weather station. I dunno what to buy though. Something relatively cheap though around £100. So won't be good i'm sure ...

Pouring with rain this morning. The lawn is happy.

No rain in either the Met Office or the XCWeather forecast. Are the synoptic charts really that complicated at the moment that the forecasters can't predict a day ahead?

‘Pouring with rain?’ Lightest of drizzle here.

It's still going here, fine rain but heavy and almost horizontal at times. Not a huge amount on radar so maybe there's a coastal aspect to it.

Morning All, the slightest hint of drizzle in the wind🥳 BUT only a hint, meanwhile after a very warm night with the low of 17.2°C at: 05:15, RH89%, with the light breeze in from the S / SW, and overcast. By 'eck it feels HOOMID out there today😓

And no sign of any rain relief down here during the next 10 days, by which I'll have caught you up, I'm at 85% dry(and only because  I water the fruit & veggies).

Rain dance time?

Maybe we can set up a pipeline from N Somerset to Dorset - our water butt collected 80 litres of water this morning alone.  😮

Rain has eased off. Just grey now ...
