Toasty this morning! After a low of 12.9°C, it has risen to 27.2°C

It certainly is rising quickly I have 28.8°C 29.2°C, and so little breeze (so far) it just feels like it wants to climb!

32.8°C at: 13:11

AND I can see you are close to bursting that!

I 've been driving around Cranbourne Chase and Wimborne area, it is so dry, it reminds me of living in South Africa after the winter (when no rain falls), and everything is just so dry.

Too hot today 🥵6792BD91-99AC-40F8-88E5-6604DA565C74.thumb.jpeg.1aca1c048435bae42d3744add82f9d10.jpeg

Similar temperature here, but a bit of a sea breeze keeping things manageable.

By the way, what a lovely place Wimborne is - I used to work at Canford school every summer when I was a youngster, they had a sports camp there.

Can't disagree, I love it, and would live there if I had the money, so I make do and do the 15minute drive to visit..

The Rh is certainly low today, down to 33% here and I see you are about the same. Reminds me of being in Phoenix in August when it was 20%.

34.3C here just before the sea breeze arrived at 2:30pm. From previous comparisons, this will be about a degree above a stevenson screen in these conditions so let's say 33 in reality, which compares well with Southampton Airport that hit 32 in a spot half hourly report.

The thing is though, comparing like with like, 34.3 is within half a degree of my all time station record going back to 2013 (set last month) and that could go tomorrow. "Nowhere near as hot as last month" said the BBC weather chappy - well he knows where he can stick that analysis lol.

Ready to break it again tomorrow?

Congrats to all who smashed their maxes today! We topped at 32c here (impressive for our coastal city), but managed to hammer our all time record set in 1976 (31.3c) 2 weeks ago when we reached 34c....

Lovely to break a record...but not wanting an annual occurrence of record breaking heat!!

Take care all, and after this heat...let's bring on a storm or 2...😉👌

Reached 31.5°C here early this afternoon before the temperature dropped a bit when the breeze changed direction. Not quite a record as it went slightly higher during the last heatwave.
