Well, I'm certainly intrigued by tomorrow's temps!

MetOffice had use down for 31°C today, and as mentioned before, I got to 32.9°C.

I hit 30°C and 11:48am. UKV is showing 30°C by 10am. 33 - 34°C by 2pm.

It'd be nice just to get in to the 33's, as I hate finishing on a .9 😁

Morning All, another Groundhog day begins, blue sky, no clouds, minimal breeze. After an overnight low of 15.7°C at: 06:01, currently 24.4°C , RH59% and a 3mph light air movement in from the NE/E.

From above, BROWN (like most of England)

Another day of putting a sheet up behind the french doors to keep the sun out in the afternoon. Works surprisingly well.

Met office doesn't think the weather will break in my area over the weekend, but I'm quietly confident that we will see a heavy shower or two.

Looking initially better for the western end of the area, although through Tuesday/Weds it appears to migrate slightly more eastwards

Storm risk % for 18:00 Monday

32.7°C at: 12:00, so 0.1°C below yesterday, the wind changed direction and now it's dropped back to 32.4°C.😒

AND then jumped back 33.1°C at: 12:19, so that's yesterday's high gone, onwards to the next high water mark..

In the nicest possible way "I'm glad somebody else is in the gap", I've been in it since the start of July!

There must be a massive fire somewhere. Acrid smoke making it's way here, had to shut the windows.

That's right where I go fishing.. I single-handedly put a fire out in the same place back in 2013, before it got out of control. I turned up to go fishing, and I spotted smoke. Went to investigate, and a fire was getting going and was travelling underground in the heathland. I was running back and forth from the beach with a bucket of water and managed to put it out.
