I really wasn’t expecting this today! ?
 

Heard a very, very distant rumble of thunder. Turns out to be something breaking over towards Ellesmere Port area. 
 

Here are the latest rainfall radar maps, and lightning strikes… Plus my current sky view looking south.

Just hit Hereford hard. Hail, thunder and lightening for 10 mins. Suns back out now.

Could be better today hit and miss showers some thunder mixed in. Heard hailstones last night too. Much cooler

Think  a thunderstorm recently passed over my house but I am in Liverpool today. On the way home now hopefully there’s more later.

Yeah just to the West of us though, unless things develop just a bit further East which it just might be doing .

we are copping it in south wales as well. the showers will die after dark

on the netweather radar, it looks darker than that,

seems like everywhere in the 30% warning area is getting some form of thundery shower at some point today.......everywhere except where I am..

Unfortunately I was driving so couldnt get a shot of that from the Fylde coast, but the rain was absolutely monsoon like.

Nope,...too many planes tacking around but i think it's still too far away to hear anything.
