Good call out last night and your pic shows the full domed extent of the display ,which will be interesting to see the Latitude of the clouds on the upcoming daisy

Lower than the Sutton Coldfield transmitter

Looking at the GFS cloud predictions.... only tonight is clear... for the next 8 days cloud will be an issue, next weekend should be clear in the South..

Its been a very poor season imho, we havnt had 1 "high" display (equal to or above Capella) in the evening, and ive only had 1 decent "low" display...

Can't agree with you more, after 2 nights and mornings on the watch, I'm staying put tonight.  I have views from my window, but to get a decent view they need to be higher up and brighter.  I'm on the watch now, have good clear skies, but that will be my effort tonight, besides my alarm goes off at 5.30am for work.  Good luck to all.

Just been trawling through the Euro cams myself, not even a snifter of anything yet.  Thought something may be showing in Russia by now, but I can't see anything.

The low display which you captured on Sat/ Sun (9/ 10), starting around midnight.

These would have been represented by the 9th July daisy

I'm still up here making the old house as cool as poss.. given the up-coming temps. Front and back door open all night like the last few, and all windows (thinking ahead.. Anyway will be up till 1ish with the dogs, I'll report if anything crops up on the distant horizon but will probably be in the early hours when I'm asleep..

Went out, came back, low battery and clouds insisted on crossing the most likely area to see them...
