looks like i missed nothing last night..... but will be up and out from now on... last year, despite going out, my last sighting was the 14th... so my time is running out?

Welcome back, hope you had a good holiday.  I thought last night that time and chances are ticking by.  Been putting the effort in, but so has the clouds, clear views have been few and far between from my tiny neck of the woods.  There's still a window of opportunity left, oh and hopefully a clear view.

Time is on your side, yes it is

Using the latest Daisy as a '3 day out' puts us back into the brighter more solid section, with the clouds past the 65° Lat

A nice early release of the latest daisy shows the '2 day out' for this evening/ morning

Maybe Rob, but don`t trust in the empty gap at the 'noon position'.

I believe that the gaps around the daisy are as a result of the stitching together of the individual strips into the finished daisy.

The gaps are to regular to be natural

It`s showing  strong and bright at the edges of the gap

Edit; just in case

Sums up this year. Other than the tiny 5-minute faint patch about 3 nights ago, I've seen nothing so far!

No, nothing here either, cloud taken over now. Will see how Flensburg one's develop, that will determine a final decision on setting alarm for possible show in a few hours.

2.25am almost, still clouded out here, can't  even spot a star in any direction.  Hope those waiting for a nautical twilight show get lucky.
