Another good daisy There`s a display waiting for some lucky people with the clouds spreading down to the 60° latitude zones

No chance viewing them tonight here Arnie heavy rain and cloud will persist, But the weekend looks fantastic into next week going off that latest Daisy chart ☺️

The only consolation is that the heavy rain turns all sparky .. oh for a clear night

Clear hereabouts now, no NLCs to report.

Clouds moving in again later I think.

Was just about to go to sleep, went onto the forum and saw Arnie's post. Got out of bed and walked 300 yards to take a pic.

Quite diffuse up to about 20 degrees

A brief, faint display this morning lasting around an hour from 02.05, before being clouded out from the West

How are you creating the time lapse ?

Is this video sped up or individual photos?

The only way I'm comfortable with, is using the time-lapse feature in the old Picasa 3 software

This involves loading individual photos to build the time-lapse.

I`m guessing it`s now a long winded way, but the program allows me to add my own music, and there`s a useful 'batch edit auto contrast feature.

This season`s full of unexpected surprises and with a full daisy still showing, let it continue

It does the job, your time lapse videos are good.

Read just now on spaceweather the NLCs may have increased because SpaceX launches, I thought that may of been the cause a while back.

Yes that`s one hell off a spike, and seems to much of a coincidence not to be caused by the recent increase in rocket launches

What effect this extra humanly contributed moisture in the mesosphere ( apart from more shiny clouds)  will effect it`s natural balance. .. only time will tell

Cheers

Always room for improvement thought. Does anyone know of a 'batch alignment'  software?

Feel like this is too much of a stunner not to share but a picture taken by a local photographer here last night of the NLCs from Facebook.
