I wouldn't be surprised it is as it would explain the funnel Metcast posted earlier. Also seems to be a weak shelf cloud on your stream.

Gone dark here, even darker to the west. Some new radar returns near Meriden way. And more towers too.

CZ yes, some party balloons were sent up close to my location about a hour ago, drifted NE fast then went stable and went nowhere just holding.

Eventually dissapeard from sight. Good call to see the low wind shear.

Any sunshine behind that Birmingham CZ? Might cause some other storms to develop behind..

Looks like no lightning from these, nice rainbow now though, and some small potent showers developed further west again.

Any one near that cell near Solihull? Looks ominous on the radar.

I can see why the radar seems ominous around Solihull with these clouds above/close by
