It's brightening up here, as it's sliding past me.

I'm not sure we had thunder and lightning here last night, but it was only visible when just off the coast, other than that it was rain wrapped.

Well, in the time I went to help the other half with the Indian she's knocking up for dinner, that died off pretty quickly! Probably just as well as I was starting to get the third degree about saying I might nip out just before dinner...

I feel a disappointment coming on right now but keeping up hope.

That line west of Cherbourg looks pretty encouraging on radar for Sussex and eastwards, I'd say.

Thanks, I've got to keep hope ha ha. The moderate risk is looking a bit risky, Handry went for a high 😬

Was that for the first lot that's already gone through or the expected second round that Lance has alluded to?

Second round but I think the first lots high saturation is a worry.

I have a feeling that lot is going to push more north/northeast but I could be wrong

Edit, that first statement was poorly worded, obviously that lot is going to travel in a north-easterly direction, but I think it will affect areas further west than what you mentioned in you post.

Adding this just in case no one noticed. It's probably nothing, but the few heavy echos around Cirencester have done a few interesting radar movements over the last few frames, especially an hour or so ago.

Probably just a radar return but seemed rather interesting to see a bizarre ish tracking.

First round going west of me, not sure I trust that we could get another round.

Yeah. Feel like it’s not going to be overly active over this half of the country

Was the Lymington downpour at about 1pm or thereabouts? We were walking the dog up Broad Lane, which has a great view over Lymington etc. We watched as the town disappeared under an intense rain core that I couldn't believe wasn't popping out lightning.

In other news, TORRO have issued a tornado watch for many of us for later!

Hi,yes, spot on.we drew in at 1.10pm to the ferry forecourt and the heavens opened.Proper convective rainfall.

Staying in Whitwell for a few days.
