Rain in the early hours here, but it's now dry with sunny skies. I think the rain has cleared through quicker than expected, should be a reasonable day.

I opened the curtains half expecting to see some of the white stuff. Instead, we have blue skies and sun although evidence of heavy rainfall last night on the ground.

Pressure rising a bit.    No sign of snow on the tops here.   Temp 5.4C.  Only 3mm rain for the last 24hrs.   We missed those big thundery deluges yesterday.

A chance later for some more heavy showers with lightning. Tomorrow looks slightly better in that regard but let's see how today goes. Flow is 170° at 60 kmh veering 220° later

Clouding up, rain not too far away now.  Some brightness earlier, all too brief though.

 Had Worse Yes -- clouded over in last half hour - something black coming up from Cheshire.

 Rain Lady black clouds we have a-plenty here in S Cheshire, but surprisingly, there has been little rain so far during daylight hours. However, the wind has got up and the barometer is still very low, and we are clearly not out of the woods just yet.

Really coming down now and seems like it is growing on the radar. I don't think there is an end in sight, I think this will be it now. Just rain with the occasional moments of sunshine. I've never known a period of rain like it from pretty much last July.

torrential rain being blown sideways… luckily got back 45 minutes ago from errands in Denton & Stockport left 1130am… was lovely sunny morning but breezy and chill in wind…

 WillinGlossop you know the script.  Sunny morning leads to false sense of being out enjoying it then getting caught out later.

Surprisingly it has stayed mostly dry since this morning's early rain cleared. Just the lightest of a shower recently.

Rather dull skies overall, although there was an attempt at something bright at lunchtime.

Temperatures nothing to write home about, max below 9 degrees. All very average.

Nice brief clearance after the rain, currently blue skies and the odd burst of sun, but there's a large mass of cloud to my south, blue sky soon to be no more.

Not bad until lunchtime but definitely a bit moist this afternoon.

Thankfully it’s cleared through now and hopefully that’s as bad as it gets over the next 4 days.
