Nice to have a sunny day for a change. It's been a long time since we've had a day with blue skies (almost) all day here. It did cloud over a bit towards the end of the day but it didn't spoil the day much.

Meanwhile the weather continued around you.

Six foot of snow and you slept right through it.

Morning All, a mild night after the rain has cleared, with it currently at the same as the overnight low of 11.3°C at: 02:43, plenty of time yet should it feels like cooling off towards sun up.

Morning all -  Been a bit quiet here suffering with an end of term cold. Feeling right lousy!

Good day today as its my last day at work before christmas. I know its a bit early but from tomorrow I am on jury duty. Eeeek! First time!

Weatherwise we had a maximum of 11.2c over night, temperature has been dropping since midnight currently 9.8c

It went incredibly dark five minutes ago and now it's chucking it down.

The fields are really stodgy now and just about passable in walking boots at this end. Not much fun though.

Just walking in the door at home after driving through a few downpours and there was loud thunder!

Yes, it's very dark out to the West again here.

Possibly just heard a distant rumble. Not sure.

How much is that? Cheaper than the garden centre?

I want to get a bulk bag, or two delivered for the borders to act as a weed suppressant. I don't know any tree surgeons. They'd give it away, I bet.

Yea I've heard that too but again don't know any. Plus I only wanted 4 bags. They just dump on the drive way otherwise.

Understandable, you wouldn't want Christmas lunch smelling of "Passion Papaya"

So a bit of everything today, heavy rain, thunder, rain and then sunshine, with blue sky. One of those days full of "What comes next?", love it.

It's April

Tree surgeons are happy to provide woodchip because they rightly charge for removal.Normally though that cost goes towards charges at legal sites.Rockbourne recycling do woodbark in loose bulk or possibly ton bags and deliver for a fee.Just make sure if you get offered free make sure it's got plenty of wood quite often stuff like lleylandi you get masses of the green foliage. Finally don't get mugged into the Eco Mulch trap.
