I'm North Cornwall, already had a gust of 79mph. It's making one hell of a noise down the chimney stack.

There was a gust of 88mph at Gull Rock earlier.

Rainfall is going be the major concern for flooding. Tomorrow will be the day of the floods. Rain already falling over flooded areas at the moment, so some dire consequences for some later today and into tomorrow/Thursday. Wind of concern too , but in a smaller area , I think the wind forecast is not a done deal yet , but could well prove problematic later , short and potent spell of wind for some but in the most populous places…..

not any major flooding but the fields are turning blue here. especial near the wind turbines and on the way to hillier's

I'm watching live weather wind readings from the instruments at Gull Rock, just reporting what it read.

apparently i'm now expected to get upwards of 60mph.  there has been so much rain that the downs's trees are lying on the ground now.

Mid, and inland. I don't know if you follow Kernow Weather Team but they have a live weather station feed from Illogan at the moment and it's making my hair stand on end.

I'm in that narrow Amber warning area. We've had copious amounts of rain here lately with many flooded roads in the area and now it looks like we're going to be battered by the winds albeit briefly.

Thankfully it looks to settle down in the coming days as it turns cooler. Hopefully we'll have some cold and snow to talk about soon rather than this incessant rain👍

Yes I do. I've just seen that a lorry has been blown over on the A388.

Compared to last year's total of 4 named storms we're already on 8 named storms this season on par with 2017/18 and 2018/19 with plenty of winter left for more!

An exceptionally stormy period so far!

Must be the climate crisis…😔
