Heavy wet snow now at Rothiemurchus, no wind and not too cold. Starting to lie now

Raining here, rain feels sleety but I suspect that's just wishful thinking. Currently fighting with the Chrismas dinner and wondering if it's too early to open the bubbly.

Seasons Greetings Scottish Forum..looking forward to more beautiful views and snow scenes.My visionary cat Mystic Mog has forecast half an inch of snow in Hampshire on 9th February my birthday.This will see Southern England cease to function for about a month lol..have a lovely day

Great to see some Christmas flakes for those further north. Here, it’s wet, wet, wet and no sooner does it go off it starts again. Just feel like we have been stuck in an endless line of showers all day.

Never too early... i had a beer with my breakfast ( left over cold pizza).. its Christmas, perfect excuse for day drinking...

Sleet with the odd snaw flake mixed in... cold though and wondering if the snaw will come on once darkness is here...

Earlier snow turned to rain for a bit, so I took the dog for a walk up the hill and just 100m or so higher it was proper snowing, with a decent cover. It has turned back to snow at the house too at some point late afternoon as there's a dusting here too now. 

Next question, will Wednesday's forecast heavy precipitation be rain or snow, probably rain by the looks of the 850s unfortunately.

The radar is off-key, it shows freezing rain on a daily basis now.

Light wet snow here around 4AM giving slight slushy covering then sleety rain early afternoon wth occassional snow flakes so tech  a white Christmas. Cold clearer and frosty now.  Great to sewe some of the pics a tad further south.

Heavy rain here this afternoon, the place is awash again. @lorenzo - very elderly mother duties today so no floorboard delights unfortunately.

If Wednesday is no more than heavy rain, on this one occasion I shan't grumble. A snowy A9 with tailgating dickheads on summer tyres isn't the best way to enjoy the white stuff...
