Crazy tap on tap off hail and torrential rain developing as it raced overhead 10 minutes ago. It stopped and started 6 times in about 2 minutes with huge raindrops mixed with hail each time!

According to the radar looks like this area now in a dry slot for a while. Bad news as I wanted a storm, good news as the dog needs a long around 5pm.

More storms heading up into Dorset.

Tad blowy with Hurst Castle having these figures

Gusting 69mph as suggested in the Met Office forecast.

Lots of broken branches down in the area, and one place I went in to had to manually operate the sliding doors to prevent the wind causing damage.

Moving NNE rapidly, so wont actually reach us as they head away NNE.

Kids have broken up for Easter here so no school run is one saving grace.  Sounds like Wiltshire are breaking up at the very last minute then.
