EC giving no joy but then first days of Februray there are signals of hope

Day 5 is +120h, day 6 is +144h Some have said multiple times that FI is around that timeline. The trend is bad on that EC, indeed. But is it constant?

I did mention it on the EC run, 240h chart, that this ridge from the Beaufort sea might be the driver for a split. So GFS seems to join this party. I postet a chart over in the strat Thread that shows the massive downgrading development of the NH 2m temps as an result of that disturbed circulation by change of month. So, again, background signals are in for some changes into real cold. Some may will rub their eyes in humility. Game is not over...

Very true! I think it's a mashup from different things that are leading to huge frustrations as there is this damn Corona-Virus with its never-ending lockdowns and restrictions and the thing, that yet another winter in a yearlong row doesn't seem to deliver its goods and we are stuck in an endless und depressive autuum like weather, on top locked in in our homes, without our beloved pubs, sports and friends. But GB is not alone, things in Germany are similar dark and resignation is spreading, in Covid or weather. Our MetO annouced today mild and rain for the next ten days. At least your vaccination goes better then ours, EU + Merkel sucked big time in makeing it possible to get vaccinated quick.
