Hi all, just registered!..

I wanted to ask if this band of precipitation is unexpected (was meant to go further west)?.. meto have changed their weather warning for london in the past hour - they must be hoping any snow is melted by rain by the morning before anyone notices. What do you think the chances are for north london to hold onto some snow

extremely small speckles of snow right now...

Does it look ok for me then ? im 60 miles north of London right on the A1.

Local weather at 11.30pm has just said snow moving up and lasting for much of tomorrow as well.

Is this likely, can anyone tell me, - and is it likely to be snow when it arrives later in the night ?

Well I am located in the most Northern tip of the region, in North East Hertfordshire. Also live in a elevated area on the East Anglian Heights (East Chilterns).

May have over an hours worth of snow then........ :)

Wow Erith is really only across the water, just checking the sky it looks orange again here, whats the chance of it getting across the thames to me lol.

Well its all heading up your way so you should get some of this. :)

Well I noticed all the orange glow and thought, it must be on its way, but nothing, then my alarm clock went off for some reason, looked out, and was snowing! :yahoo

Still slight/moderate, defo snow though.
