hope so too

we've had zilch so far but maybe as the heavy stuff packs in behind the front it will start to snow here

I think your best chance is later on when the back end moves in over the mainland although we should fare will from that too :yahoo:

I think it is a case of west is best in this situation though I would still expect the east to get some snow.

It's been coming down steadily here for the past 20 mins or so and doesn't lookm like letting up at the moment. Of course though you are in EK so as always you will get snow romped :yahoo: . I'll certainly be keeping an eye on the radar to see if the ppn to come will be potent.

Just got heavier as I was typing there not massive flakes but good enough :D

A bit annoyed at how that all just intensified to the north of here! Ah well, radar suggests we might see something better soon ;)

Certainly does Ross! What do you think of that ppn right above NI. Looks like there is a good chance of it pepping up considerably later on as it moves east. I love this snow but I still feel disappointed as if affects my dad's business no end. He's been shouting Rain, rain rain!!!! all day ;) I did warn him though ;)

Well apologies for the technical error ;) . Ah well it is the right area anyway, although I think the whole of the west is well suited for this front.

Pmsl - I've read Shugee's opening post in the new model thread.

Britain indeed doesn't stop at the Watford Gap.

:D

perhaps next week we wont need to hear them hyping up the latest weather event hoping they will end next week with plenty of rain

of course it being england it will be rain of biblical proportions :D

heavy precip moving towards here from sw

more snow around northern ireland so it looks like the east is not going to be left out tonight

sky is looking more red to the southwest so snow may soon be approaching
