Again another small area of very heavy rain just passed over. The workmen laying new gas pipes outside the house dont look to pleased, maybe they should subscrive to NW radar lol. No T&L though.

Just had a very heavy shower here with one distant boom of thunder. Came out of the blue and stopped almost as soon as it had started.

I may be in luck for a storm tonight according to the Met Office :D (one can hope lol) :) But I doubt I'll see one as usual <_<

Headline:

Heavy and locally thundery showers will continue overnight. Windy.

This Evening and Tonight:

Sunny intervals and scattered, locally very heavy showers and thunderstorms during the evening. Overnight, some clear intervals in places, but locally heavy showers will continue, along with a risk of thunder. Very windy in Cornwall and near southern coasts. Minimum temperature 14 °C.

Some pretty active looking cells coming out of south Wales, might just pass to my north west, will have to wait and see.

Just had a very intense shower which developed overhead from what i can tell on the radar. Some local minor flash flooding, never saw any lightning but it was thunderstorm style rain <_<

these showers really showing their hand now, can see clearer weather to my east, plenty of convection to the south
