Looks like something's bubbled up and is headed my way on that...not that I'll be awake to see it...:cray:

It should be here in just over 1/2 an hour, will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Strange thing with the N-W radar, when viewing as UK, the precipitation type is not correct, it seems to be accurate if switching to Euro view. Raining here by the way.

Forget that! It's just started raining/sleeting fairly heavily all of a sudden - probably a shower though...

That is a very interesting difference...

If Paul is reading, I would be very interested to hear about why this is different?

Thanks

I had the rain then it turned to snow - seems to have frozen over now as there are patches of snow still on the pavement and the cars. Nothing great so far though - but maybe it will build up if we keep getting these showers passing through - here's hoping!

What is is with a NW wind coming across the Irish sea and still not a single shower wants to develop and move into the SW!! yet three packing into Wales (with less of a sea track!) and the NW :doh:

Bloody ell something really does have it in against us!!!

Frosty and icy -2c with some ice patches left from last nights rain/freezing rain

I know what you mean. I would have thought devon and corn inland areas especially would get a pasting from showers.

A very light sprinkling of the white stuff this morning but it has fallen on to frozen rain, a lethal combination. Temperature is currently -1C.
