Had a real pasting in North Bristol and my work is shut. Still snowing and will do for a while. WOW !!!!!

Spot on forcasting from Ian and Richard on BBC Bristol and the Met Office for here good.gif

Look at that arc of ppn exactly as predicted !!

Not exactly for some areas.

This was due to the LP being further east, as shown on the GFS Tuesday morning.

I was accused of bringing bad news by 'Iceburg', but due to this areas such as Dorset missed out.

Morning all!yahoo.gif

Well it arrived then! About 4 inches lying here in north bristol, bigger depth in slight drifts.

Would've liked more though, butcan't complain. I suppose Cotswolds prob got a foot. Should continue for another couple of hours i guess.

Walk to work will be fun. doubt if many will get in though

Just skipped over to Sky News and reporter live in Marlborough, Wilts - absolutely chucking it down there. Is that heading here or is it all about to slip south?

Morning all

ong time since I last posted in here! Seems the arc of snow finally moved south enough to have dumped about 2 to 3 inches or so overnight (hadn`t started properly before I went to bed).Still snowing atm light/moderate. Hope everyone has a good/safe day in the snow.

Better get ready for work (if I can get out of the lane!)

Jackpot!

3-4inches over night, still snowing and Spotlight going for heavy snow today, showers tomorrow and heavy snow showers Friday and Saturday! I'll take that.

Roads closed, flights suspended from Exeter, Plymouth and Newquay.

Still not as much as Feb 09...so far. :o
