just got back in and ppn has moved quite alot in 2 hours imo!!!

Feels bitter cold out now and wind has picked up (-2 in my mates car just but it was a vauxhall!!!) - also just noticed some 10inch icicles hanging off my porch lol.

Hopefully not long to go til the fun and games start.

The snowflakes are small here, but there's quite a strong wind blowing them around as well as some of the lying snow being whipped up, which makes for a mild blizzard during the gusts. The snow is settling readily here, so if could prove interesting if it keeps snowing as there's already a lot still lying from last Tuesday and Sunday night.

Look at Cheltenham and Gloucester. One of the holes has appeared right over them and it looks like they are recieving nothing. There seemed to be one about Yeovil way as well but that seems to be filling.

This band of precipitation is like leaving a bed sheet in a room full of moths!

Agreed, however, the front looks to be starting to pivot slightly, from a NW-SE bias to a more slightly WNW-ESE....Not too sure how this might impact the West Midlands, apart from possibly precip coming from a more southerly direction as the night progresses..This might aid snowfall accumulations, as the lighter, more patchy snow being leached out by the mid-wales peaks might well trundle northwards to the west of our region

Nothing here yet,just very tiny grains which theres been all day,the odd small flake or two -1.0c
