yes quite a "beefy" snow shower - just been out with my ruler. There was 7cm still lying previously, and now that is doubled - 14cm. So nearly 3 inches of fresh snow :)

:) ...excellent that one shower as beaten the last 12 hrs..lol

I hope its heading this way,but by passing Yatton

It's a big mix of really big flakes and tiny ones, nut it is modrately heavy. Quite suprised we had a couple of inches last night, I was scared it would turn to rain/sleet. UWE is still open though so I still have to do my exam today booo, but it's the last one so in about 8 hours I'll be a bit pished!

Good luck with the exam! Enjoy the drinking :yahoo:

Met someone on my trek earlier who put out a ruler yesterday, measured 9inches on the level.

Not bad at all.

The drifts are huge though!

It's very light here now. Thanks Dartmoor_Matt! Walking through 9 inches sounds incredibly fun. We have ice under our snow so it's going to be fun trying to get to the bus stop. I'm thinking of purchasing myself some crampons just in case!
