It has got colder even on the coast, 1 degree drop in the last hour, this is a good sign for mountains and hills further north

Sleet here in Cardiff temps fine but dew points just a tad to high

will have to wait until later in the day for dew point to drop

I'll have to make an excuse to the Mrs and pop up the valleys for snow

Wet snow in Merthyr now. Trying it's best to thicken up.

Off to Bedlinog now. The land that time forgot. Wish me luck. Gelligaer Common could be interesting

Mostly sleet in Brecon at the moment but some snow in heavier bursts. Would love to see some proper stuff - more fun to have snow than damp and miserable on holiday!

Not 10.30am yet Jay - and then it goes up till 9pm tonight

Quite a lot falling in Newport now- have to say looks pretty damp out there and its gonna take a hell of a lot more than this to cause major problems

Thumbs up to the Met Office though - said it was due to start at 10:30 and at 10:16 it just started

Still no snow here.

sorry to hear that Joo - it's still snowing here - admittedly it's struggling a little to settle properly mind - so the snow level must be around 100m (with proper settling snow above my location at the moment) + but Jay in Cardiff said he's seeing some flakes - so you can't be far away from seeing at least something
