The sky is certainly darker towards the east from here- but looking nice towards Cornwall. Any chance it can some this way please?

I can see plenty CBs headed this way, were not done for the day. If you drive you should go find somewhere to watch!

Going to stay put for now, but may venture up to Cleeve or Bushcombe hill later :(

Light rain and overhead CC lightning at 3:55pm.

Not officially a thunderstorm, but hey! One to note down in the calendar. :D

Not over yet it seems as another bank of Cbs heading towards Solihull. :(

Phil.

Plenty of heavy downpours around at the moment. Thought I heard thunder to the south after one passed by about half an hour ago then thought I was hearing things but now I hear there is thunder down south so maybe it was a rumble. Hoping for something to come.

Nothing at all here yet. As normal cells developing just after me or missing me to the west/south. Typically there's been a thunderstorm in South Devon. We don't seem to have a good direction for storms here anymore. Now an area of mostly blue sky has moved over with any cumulus not really developing, behind that some distant anvils from stuff coming down from the NNE, lets see what that does but I can already see the gaps that look like passing over here on radar..

Nice cumulus congestus/towering cumulus to my south now forming a shower as it moves offshore.

Think the worst of that storm occured directly over the city - I'd imagine there was a colossal downpour a short while ago, but lightning seemed very infrequent from where I was. A fair few flashes and good sounding thunder.

very dark here now

A small cell is going overhead a few flashs, 3 rumbles and now just heavy rain

There shall be nothing of note up here now, the increasing heights are descending from the north as the low pressure spins away southwards.

fair play, more like a heavy shower here, with no donner or blitzen.

Looks like the thunder stopped after here. It went very black for a time.
