Don't very often do this (in fact I don't recall us ever running something like this on the forums). But since the UK has been pretty much storm starved in recent years, to mark this weekend perhaps ending the famine, I've setup some special offers for the 5 minute radar and majority of the other subscription options we have :)

Just use the offer code UKSTORM on the payment page once you've registered.

Hi looking really good here for a storm,as the sky is very dark and appears 'heavy'?

Current temperature = 19.1

Humidity = 48%

Pressure seems stable

Wind light

Fingers crossed something happens for once :rolleyes:

Very humid and bright day in Brownhills, quite overcast and grey at the moment! Hoping for something big and sparky later!

I noticed that half hour ago.. it seems MUCH more active than this area just moving over us..

The convection and storm cells behind are are something else!

Some storms bubbling up in NW England at the moment, and unless its an error with the radar a particularly intense thunderstorm could hit West Cumbria, with a scattering of smaller showers / thundery showers heading up through Lancashire and West Yorkshire at the moment.

How do you upgrade if you have the radar only package (3.49 one?)

Will that reach the u.k? if so, what areas would you say are likely to be affected by it?

Why not just read Paul's previous post and buy a radar subsciption? They are very cheap but the quality is superb - i highly recommend it

Really heavy rain here with lightning in the distance. Welcome rain though.

Looking very dark here now, but rain has not yet reached us. Do you have any thunder/lightening?
