Raining here from a weakening shower. Not electrical.

It is very depressing here as well, light showers and overcast with no wind.

Hopefully these might work:

On a side-note, can someone please explain to this noob (i.e. me) how come it's getting hotter as the evening draws in? I'd expect it to be cooling down...?

Slightly overcast here, temperature dropping now.

It doesn't feel as humid as it did earlier.

Reduced image size by 60% so it should fit the image thingy better.

Am I looking at the clouds or the spider on the window?

Will anything form in the Bay of Biscay or extreme north-western France over the next few hours??

It'd be great if it did but it won't.

Why don't you think this will happen? I am still extremely confident of things for the South Eastern quarter.

Is your sensor in the sun, or near anything reflecting the sun?

I cannot understand how I saw 10-15 flashes of lightning yet others saw nothing? The low cloud was non existent here, very strange.

I can only assume that the low cloud did not went as far west as Gosforth so you were just far enough Inland but of course, I could of been looking in the wrong direction because in all honesty, I had no idea where the storm was but I certainly did not see any lightning overhead and saw lower cloud in a SSW'ly direction which can only tell me that I was under low cloud. If it happened at night, it may of been more interesting.

On the latest pic's on sat24 there is definately something forming in that band of cloud out to the west in the bay of biscay.

Dont all give up yet.

Humm that shower arrived as nothing more than moderate and cooling rain! If your in places north and north east of here, dont expect anything from thse area of showers... its becoming less intense by each radar grab.

What's your prediction then?

I just don't have any faith because i've seen this all before too many times, you wait for stuff to form in mainland Britain and naff all does.

Then as we recently know, a cell has just exploded north of Paris but guess what it won't be hitting mainland Britain because of the wind direction.

Any idea what is coming of the cells in the southwest? I have a sneaky suspicion they may just be a bit far west of here but not sure if they're electrical or not.

Hmmm, the precip around Glocestershire has got heavier in the past 20 mins but sadly all lightning from the South West seems to have stopped now :nonono:
