Just before it's due you block out the light with the edge of the window frame just so you can see the first minute flakes lol

Good luck guys!

I hope you all get want you hope for from the up and coming event!

We are sure to get bugger all from this one in Ireland, ( in fact already warming up here with sleet in the far west!), but you guys definitlety deserve a good blast of the white stuff. For this reason, I wish you all soooo well!

Good luck and maybe with some more we can get a northerly in 10 day or so!

Baltic!

:cold:

Moonlight, broken clouds... and snow in Folkestone! Light but persistant! Not just your few flakes a minute! Proper, swirling snow!

Another Folkestonian! That's four of us now plus sarah in Lyminge and last couple of winters there was a girl in hythe too!

Going by the latest GFS run. The fun kicks off around 9pm and lasts about 12 hours. Most should have 10cm or so, maybe a tad more further north in our region. Perhaps back edge rain for those further West.

It will all be gone by Monday morning though, as the next band moves down it is predicted to fall as rain according to the latest GFS. Short lived fun?

oh yes the famed "pub run"

must be true then.......................................................................:crazy:

its going to stay very cold through the whole week, so the rain, may be slightly fluffyier and whiter than the normal stuff! lol
