Its going to be a close one, we are at peak solar heating now, so temps should start to drop (in theory) in about an hour or so. If the warm front can slow a bit more the Cold front behind has started to catch up, an occluded front would make all the difference.

Wow the SE are going to get a pasting though later....

Temp has actually dropped 0.2c to 0.5c, but the dp is still rising and now at -1.1c

Going white over the pavements etc already At least it hasn't been a snowless winter ey? After 2 months of zonal/mild weather I'm happy to see it snowy even if it's only for a few hours

It's moderate in intensity here but small flakes, everything has turned white; crossing everything and hoping the elevation keeps it as snow rather than turning to rain. Very excited dogs.....
