ah the BBC weather forecast, always good for a giggle....treat with scepticism is my advice and now-cast/radar watch

Id describe the metoffice as vague this morning. No real detail on anything at the minute. I suspect the weather warning will be updates and will show Birmingham down to Cardiff along to Bristol and bk to brum will be the best place to be. I feel for most itl be 1-2cms outside that area

Can't see as anyone can accurately give people amounts really.... the words 'snow' and 'potentially disruptive' are probably as far as anyone will go today..

Freezing Rain is about as much as we in Shrewsbury had last weekend, and I expect it to also be the same today/tonight....

yep, me too....uppers look the wrong side of marginal for snow until well into the night, so freezing rain is a major concern to us west midlanders.....needless to say I'm getting my work supplies soon but have cancelled my afternoon/evening delivery run as I'd like to actually get home some time today!

This PPN seems WAY ahead of schedule to me :blink: A heavy blob has just hit Nottingham and is making a b line for Leicester, I didn't expect to see this kind of precip here until about 6pm at the earliest :wacko:
